1. Introduction

Baral IT Solutions is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees, contractors, and partners. This Workplace Policy outlines the standards of conduct, values, and expectations that guide how we operate as an organization.

All team members are expected to read, understand, and adhere to the guidelines set forth in this policy. Violations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or contract.

3. Code of Conduct

All employees and contractors are expected to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Report any known or suspected violations of company policy promptly.

4. Anti-Harassment & Anti-Bullying

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, or any form of intimidation in the workplace. Harassment includes but is not limited to unwelcome verbal, physical, or visual conduct based on any protected characteristic.

Any employee who believes they have experienced or witnessed harassment should report it immediately to their manager or HR representative. All complaints will be investigated promptly and confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who reports harassment in good faith is strictly prohibited.

5. Remote Work & Flexible Arrangements

Baral IT Solutions supports flexible and remote work arrangements where operationally feasible. Employees working remotely are expected to:

  • Maintain the same level of productivity and professionalism as in-office work.
  • Be available during agreed-upon core business hours.
  • Secure their home network and devices in accordance with our IT Security Policy.
  • Participate in team meetings and communications reliably.

6. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All employees are required to protect the confidentiality of client data, proprietary business information, and internal communications. This obligation extends beyond the duration of employment.

Employees must not share confidential information with unauthorized parties, use it for personal gain, or retain company data after termination. Violations may result in legal action in addition to disciplinary measures.

7. Technology & Acceptable Use

Company-provided technology resources — including computers, software, networks, and communication tools — are to be used primarily for business purposes. Incidental personal use is permitted provided it does not interfere with work duties or violate any other company policy.

Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: accessing or distributing illegal content, unauthorized software installation, circumventing security controls, and using company resources for personal business ventures.

8. Health & Safety

Baral IT Solutions is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment. All employees are expected to follow safety guidelines, report unsafe conditions, and cooperate with any health and safety investigations. We comply with all applicable OSHA regulations and local workplace safety laws.

9. Social Media Policy

Employees are welcome to engage on social media platforms in a personal capacity but must not:

  • Disclose confidential company or client information.
  • Make disparaging remarks about the company, its clients, or colleagues.
  • Imply they are speaking on behalf of Baral IT Solutions without authorization.
  • Post content that could be considered discriminatory, harassing, or defamatory.

10. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in law, business operations, or best practices. Employees will be notified of material changes and continued employment constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
