CYBERSECURITY / SOUTH FLORIDA

One click.
A business-wide
consequence.

Your email, people, devices, and data are connected. Your protection should be, too.

Baral IT brings endpoint security, identity, Microsoft 365, network controls, and recovery planning into one considered approach—built around the way your business works.

THE BUSINESS BEHIND THE SIGNAL

It is never
just an IT problem.

It is a payment someone trusts. A schedule your team needs. A client file you are responsible for.

We start with those dependencies, then decide how to protect access, recognize unusual activity, and respond with a clear owner. Your people should know where to turn when something feels wrong.

DEFENSE IN DEPTH / CONNECTED RESPONSIBILITIES

One product
is not the whole plan.

Each layer addresses a different part of the exposure. Together, they help reduce risk and prepare your business to respond.

01

Email & employee awareness

Help people recognize unusual requests, verify payment changes independently, and report suspicious messages. Coordinate filtering and email controls with the services in place.

The message is only the beginning.
02

Identity & Microsoft 365

Review MFA, administrator access, authentication methods, account policies, and mailbox settings. Access should reflect the person’s role and be reviewed when that role changes.

A login can open more than an inbox.
03

Endpoint protection & Acronis XDR

Protect enrolled devices and review endpoint incidents. Configured XDR integrations add relevant context and supported response actions to EDR incidents.

A device signal needs a considered response.
04

Network & access boundaries

Review firewall policies, remote access, Wi-Fi separation, and equipment maintenance. Limit unnecessary access between parts of the business.

Connections need deliberate boundaries.
05

Business information & permissions

Consider who can access files, how information is shared, and how obsolete access is removed. Sensitive business information deserves clear ownership.

Your data should have a defined audience.
06

Backup & recovery readiness

Identify critical workloads, agree backup coverage, and plan recovery priorities and validation. Security and recoverability need to work together.

Protection includes a way forward.

CONNECTED CONTEXT / WHERE CONFIGURED

ACRONIS / EXTENDED DETECTION & RESPONSE

More context.
A better-informed response.

Acronis XDR builds on endpoint detection and response. Connected integrations enrich an endpoint incident with additional context and supported response actions.

It helps connect the investigation across supported services. It does not replace account security, email controls, maintenance, or a person responsible for reviewing the incident.

EDR, licensing, supported platforms, and configured integrations determine the available capabilities. Monitoring tools and human response responsibilities are scoped separately.

WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG

An alert needs
an owner.

A security product is part of the response. The important work is deciding what happened, what is affected, and what should happen next.

We agree the support route, response expectations, access, and escalation responsibilities before an incident makes those questions urgent.

01

Assess

Review the available evidence and business impact. Identify affected devices, accounts, and information.

02

Contain

Coordinate appropriate access restrictions or device isolation, using supported controls and agreed authority.

03

Investigate

Review relevant activity, remove persistence where identified, and decide what needs remediation or recovery.

04

Validate & improve

Check the environment before restoring access. Document the response, remaining issues, and changes to the plan.

WHEREVER YOUR BUSINESS IS TODAY

A stronger plan.
A practical starting point.

Begin with the business. Then map the exposure.

Understand your people, devices, cloud accounts, critical information, and existing controls before deciding what to add.

  1. Review the current environment
  2. Identify ownership and gaps
  3. Prioritize a practical security plan

BUSINESS CYBERSECURITY / CLEAR ANSWERS

Good questions.
Clear responsibilities.

What cybersecurity services does Baral IT provide?

We help South Florida businesses coordinate endpoint protection, Acronis detection and response, Microsoft 365 and identity security, email protection, network controls, employee awareness, and recovery planning. The services and responsibilities are defined around your environment.

How is cybersecurity different from managed IT?

Managed IT owns ongoing technology care and support. Cybersecurity focuses on access, exposure, protective controls, detection, and incident response. The two work together: patching, inventory, and maintenance help support the security plan.

What does Acronis XDR add to endpoint security?

Acronis XDR adds incident context and supported response actions from configured integrations to endpoint detection and response. It requires EDR and appropriate licensing. The available controls depend on the connected services and supported platforms.

Does MFA mean our Microsoft 365 accounts are completely safe?

MFA is an important layer, but no single control makes an account completely safe. We also consider access policies, administrator permissions, registered authentication methods, application consent, mailbox rules, and available security signals.

Can you work with our existing IT staff or provider?

Yes. We can review the current setup and define the responsibilities that need support. That can mean strengthening an existing team, establishing a new plan, or coordinating a transition from another provider.

Do you guarantee that an attack will never happen?

No. Security reduces risk and prepares the business to respond. We explain the controls, remaining gaps, and recovery priorities so decisions are informed rather than based on a promise of perfect protection.

What happens if we suspect an incident?

Contact Baral IT through the agreed support route. We assess the available evidence, coordinate appropriate containment, investigate affected systems and accounts, and plan validation or recovery. Support hours, response targets, and escalation responsibilities are agreed in the service plan.

Can cybersecurity help with healthcare and compliance requirements?

Security controls, access reviews, documentation, and recovery planning can support healthcare and other compliance obligations. Requirements depend on your business and applicable rules; installing a product alone does not establish compliance.

Which areas do you serve?

Baral IT serves businesses across South Florida, including the Treasure Coast, Palm Beaches, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. We discuss remote and on-site responsibilities during the consultation.
